Uniform Information

Uniform

School uniform is compulsory for children from Reception to Year 6.  It consists of a blue sweatshirt or cardigan, a white polo shirt and grey or black trousers or skirt/dress. Foot ware must be black, and ideally smart shoes. Boots higher than the ankle, are not allowed, soft trainers are allowed, if they are completely black. If you are struggling with providing your child with the correct uniform, please contact our school office.

Most parents of children in the Nursery also opt to wear uniform. EYFS children can also wear their PE pumps as soft indoor shoes during the day, please discuss this with the class teacher. Wellies and waterproofs are provided to our EYFS pupils for outdoor play, where needed.

P.E. kit

From September 2020 pupils will be assigned P.E. days, rather than bringing P.E. kit into school to change into.

Our P.E kit consists of a pair of plain blue, black or grey shorts or skort, a white t-shirt/polo shirt and a pair of black pumps or plain white or black trainers.  For outside sessions, a plain blue, black or grey tracksuit or warm top is recommended; plain blue, black or grey jogging bottoms or leggings can also be worn in the colder months.

Swimming Kit

Swimming costume (not bikini). Swimming shorts/trunks and a towel, to be placed in a named bag for each child.  No jewellery to be worn and long hair should be tied back or swimming cap worn.

In order to stop pupils belongings from getting lost, we ask that all clothing is marked with pupils name in waterproof ink.

Jewellery must not be worn.  This is to comply with Health and Safety procedures.  Small earring studs may be worn, but children must be able to take them out for P.E./Swimming lessons. If pupils are unable to remove studs due to new piercings, we request that plasters are provided for P.E./Swimming lessons.

Nail varnish should not be worn. Temporary tattoos should not be worn.

(Please note: The colour of pupil’s P.E. kit must be in line with the school uniform colours as outlined above)
