School Facilities

We encourage the use of the library throughout school with each class having regular access. Books are used for reference purposes when children are doing topic work and as an extension to the school reading scheme. The Library is also used as a quiet area for individuals or small group work.

Outdoor Areas

Playground - We have a large playground equipped with a variety of play activities for each age group, including a climbing frame for the infant children (EYFS & KS1) and tyre park .

Field - Adjacent to the playground we have access to an area of land which we are in the process of developing for school use.

The 'Fairfield' situated opposite the school provides a large area of extra space which is used by classes throughout the year and is the venue for our annual sports day.

Intervention Rooms

We use a number of areas around school for intervention groups and one to one sessions. These include the wrap around care area, library and upstairs rooms.

This is used for daily assemblies, PE lessons, music and also as a dining room. All classes have access to this space and apparatus on a timetabled basis.
