This week I was lucky enough to go with Key Stage Two on their trip to Keswick.
It was a fun-packed, if slightly wet and windy day in the Lake District and we packed a great deal in.
The children were fascinated by the 5000 year old stone circle, built during the Bronze Age, we still haven’t agreed how many stones there actually is!
We also looked at tourism in Keswick and what might attract visitors to come, despite the weather.
Finally at the Theatre by the Lake we were treated to ‘Beauty and the Beast’- a very different version to the Disney classic. It is a focus for our ‘Arts’ work over the next term as part of our work with Rosehill Theatre.
