Dear Parents/ Carers,
I am writing to you to make you aware of our plans to open school more widely from Monday 15th June.
As you know, we, as a Multi-Academy Trust, have been taking a cautious approach to welcoming students into the building, starting with pupils who were previously eligible to our local hubs. These are the children of key workers and those classed as vulnerable. This has allowed us to test our risk assessments and refine our procedures to ensure that they will support an increased number of persons in a safe way.
We are now in a position to offer school provision to the following groups of children:
School leaders have been in contact with the parents of children in the relevant groups and they have been organised into learning groups/ bubbles in an age-appropriate way. The children will work with school staff with whom they are familiar. If your child is eligible to return, we will expect them in school on June 15th. If this will not be the case please make contact via email:
Once school re-opens we will expect absence to be recorded in the normal way, so if your child is unable to attend school on a given day, you will need to contact us via the school office before 9.15am.
Information about how the school day will operate and the changes which are in place to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19 have already been sent to you via email and can also be found on the school website. If you require further information please contact the school office or myself directly.
At present, we are unable to offer school-based learning to other year groups and as such we will continue to provide home learning in the way that we have been doing since March.
As always, thank you for your co-operation and support,
Executive Head Teacher
