Thank you for supporting INSIDE OUT day on 6th February. We raised £35.10.
Children's mental health is very important to us as a school. Miss Routledge currently uses part of her role in school to support children when emotional well-being may be a concern. She has had training in this key area and works with children on developing confidence, assertiveness and discussing and recognising different feelings. As a small school we can easily notice changes in the presentation of pupils in school which might indicate an issue. However, it is important that we see beyond the external as children ( like adults) will often hide how they are feeling. This week we have used INSIDE OUT day to remind the children of the importance of talk. We have spoken about sharing worries and negative feelings with a trusted adult in the hope of finding empathy and possibly a solution.
Please don't hesitate to speak with your child's teacher, Miss Routledge or myself if you are concerned about your child's wellbeing.
